The China Europe International Business Association, which is based in Macao, and the Portuguese municipality of Entroncamento, which is near Lisbon, have agreed to cooperate in business matters, the Macao Daily News reports.

The newspaper says they will cooperate in fields including new technology products, innovation, high-tech manufacturing, international e-commerce, tourism, and logistics and warehousing.

The report says their cooperation may attract Chinese investment in Entroncamento.

Representatives of the business association and Entroncamento signed the agreement to cooperate on the sidelines of the Macao International Trade & Investment Fair this month, the Macao Daily News says.
