The next Meeting of Entrepreneurs for Economic and Commercial Cooperation between the China and Portuguese-speaking Countries will take place in Portugal, confirmed João Proença, of the Portuguese Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade (AICEP).

The choice of Portugal as the next host of the initiative was made during a meeting of investment agencies from Portuguese-speaking countries and China during this year’s meeting in Cape Verde.

“One of the decisions we made in the meeting [this year] was to hold the next meeting in Portugal,” said João Proença, as reported by the Portuguese news agency Lusa. The official added that it was decided to continue the process of establishing a federation of entrepreneurs in Macao.
