Angola will cooperate further with China, while enhancing mutual trust and taking the strategic partnership to a new level, the Government-run news agency Xinhua reports.
Yesterday’s report quotes Angola’s Vice-President Manuel Domingos Vicente who made the remarks during a meeting with State Councillor Wang Yong, who was touring the country.
Mr Wang said China would encourage businesses to invest in Angola and strengthen cooperation in sectors such as energy, finance and infrastructure.
While in Angola, Mr Wang also witnessed the signing of a protocol that will see China pardon some outstanding interest-free loans, the Angop news agency reported.
