China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group Co, Ltd. will repair and build the road network connecting the new international airport to Luanda for US$695.1 million, Angolan newspaper O País reported last week.

The newspaper quoted an order from Angolan President José Eduardo dos Santos, dated September 5, authorising the contract with China Tiesiju and the agreements with the mainland financiers.

The new airport is scheduled to open next year.
