The Spring Festival Gala will be shown for the third consecutive year exclusively in Brazil starting on the 26th of February on the pay-TV channel FashionTV and on Box Brazil Play. China Media Group (CMG) has signed the deal in collaboration with Grupo Box Brazil.

The original version, which is shown in China, has an average duration of 4 hours every year. The exclusive version in Brazil is an hour long. The presentation will have reruns on the 27th and 28th of February, at midnight and 7:30 p.m., respectively.

The Spring Festival Gala, recognized by Guinness World Records as the most-watched TV show in the world, has been an integral part of Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations for over 40 years. Songs, dances, operas, martial arts, acrobatics and the presence of several celebrities from the worlds of music, TV and cinema in China are among the highlights.
