Mozambique will be one of the eight countries featured as guests of honor at the third edition of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Exhibition, to be held in Changsha, the capital of Hunan province, at the end of June, the organization announced. It was decided that the other guests of honor will be Benin, Democratic Republic of Congo, Madagascar, Malawi, Morocco, Nigeria and Zambia, the People’s Daily advanced.
According to the official Chinese newspaper, three international organizations and 257 businessmen from 45 African countries have already registered for the exhibition. The exhibition, which is held every two years, will feature six pavilions and an outdoor exhibition area, with a total area of about 100,000 square meters.
The event is co-organized by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the authorities of Hunan province, where the China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Innovation Demonstration Park is also located.
