The secretary of Santa Catarina for Science, Technology and Innovation, Marcelo Fett, spoke on the 6th of June in São Paulo with the president of the Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor (GWM) Latin America, James Yang.
He invited the company’s management to get to know Santa Catarina, the state’s logistical and business environment potential, but mainly the new development policy centered on decarbonization, energy transition and electric mobility.
The executive of the Chinese company also expressed interest in getting to know the Corredor Eléctrico Santa Catarina project implemented by Celesc, which foresees a millionaire investment in the third phase of the project for the installation of 10 more electric vehicle charging stations in the state.
GWM representatives are expected to visit SC in the coming days.
