A delegation from the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA), the country’s ruling party, will on Thursday start a five-day visit to China, Angola’s official news agency Angop reported.
The delegation, led by party Vice President Roberto de Almeida, aims to strengthen cooperation ties between the ruling parties of both countries, Angop quoted the MPLA saying in a statement.
The delegation is scheduled to meet on Thursday with officials from the International Department of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, before travelling to the Space Technology Academy of China, in Zhejiang province, on Friday.
They will also visit Shanghai before ending their visit on March 24, the agency reported.
