The kick-off Session of the 5th Brazil Acceleration Camp was held in Shanghai in December, lasting two months and focusing on the field of artificial intelligence (AI). The event was co-organized by the Consulate General of Brazil in Shanghai and the Shanghai Technology Innovation Center (STIC), supported by the Innovation Program of ApexBrasil and organized by the Shanghai Pudong Software Park Incubator (SPSP Incubator).
Since 2019, the Brazil Acceleration Camp has been part of the Innovation Diplomacy Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, with the aim of impulsing the internationalization of the Brazilian innovation sectors. The Brazil's Deputy Consul-Consulate General of Brazil in Shanghai, Pedro Peixoto, said that as 2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Brazil and China, the Brazil Acceleration Camp is a practical continuation of the commitment to cooperation between the two countries.
