The Brazilian industrial hub of Águas Lindas of Goiás will receive Chinese companies. On December 19, Chinese businessmen from the city of Zhongshan, located in Guangdong province, introduced the profiles of the 20 Chinese companies that will be settled in the new industrial hub of Águas Lindas de Goiás. The meeting was held at the City Hall of Águas Lindas, where its Mayor, Lucas Antonietti, led the meeting with the businesspeople, who participated via videoconference.
It is expected that 37 companies will settle in the Sol Nascente industrial center and 20 of these companies will start operation by the first half of 2025.
The Mayor Lucas Antonietti emphasized that they are prepared to carry out this project, with contracts, legislation and resources already lined up. The companies, which operate in areas such as drones, motorcycles, photovoltaics and electronics, will turn Águas Lindas into a benchmark in the commercial relationship between Brazil and China.
