Cooperation between China and Brazil to create a direct maritime route for biofertilizers

On October 18, the mayor of Santana, Sebastião Bala Rocha, the Brazilian Minister of Integration and Regional Development, Waldez Góes, the deputy governor of Amapá, Teles Júnior and the CEO of Companhia Docas de Santana (CDSA), Edival Tork, received the representative of the Chinese company SINO - LAC SUPPLY CHAIN, Zhu Chuangxin, at the location of CDSA.

 

The visit is part of a cooperation agreement between Brazil and China, established in May 2024, which aims to create a direct maritime route to import biofertilizers from China.


The mayor of Santana said that this route mainly involves the import of biofertilizers, and the first goods will arrive in Brazil fin November. Through this cooperation, Santana will be a major importer of biofertilizers for Amapá and Brazil.
