One of the world's leading trade fairs for the leather sector is expected to generate US$ 154 million in business for Brazilian tanneries. This is the projection for the next 12 months of the 15 Brazilian companies that recently took part in the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) in Shanghai, China.
The Brazilian presence at the event was supported by the Brazilian Leather project. The initiative is a partnership between the Center for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).
According to the manager of Brazilian Leather, Letícia Luft, ACLE “is a key event for all countries with leather industry in the world, because it decides the long-term business”.
