Angolan international relations expert Osvaldo Mboco said in an interview that the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, which will take place between 4 and 6 September in Beijing, aims to reaffirm and consolidate China's presence in Africa and should allow for the expansion of trade exchanges and new economic agreements.
Osvaldo Mboco hopes that Angola will use FOCAC to strengthen relations and expand cooperation with China, attracting Chinese industrial investment.
In an interview, Osvaldo Mboco highlighted that Angola can attract much more of the trade sector, while it should seek to attract the industrial sector to set up manufacturing units in Angolan territory. This would employ a greater number of young Angolans, give purchasing power to families and circulate more money in the Angolan financial system.
