From July 24 to 26, the delegation of Young Party Leaders from Portuguese-speaking African countries at the Seventh China-Africa People's Forum visited Changsha, Hunan Province. The delegation is made up of 14 young leaders from 5 countries, including Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, São Tomé and Príncipe. The China-Africa Trade Cooperation Innovation and Promotion Demonstration Park is one of the location for the field visit.

Many young leaders in the delegation are optimistic about the prospects for cooperation between China and Africa, believing that the continued advancement of Chinese modernization will bring more development opportunities to African countries.

"China has assisted Guinea-Bissau in the construction of many infrastructures, such as the Presidential Palace, the China-Guinea-Bissau Friendship Hospital and a Fishing Port. The two countries also have long-term cooperation in agriculture and fishing," highlighted a representative of Guinea-Bissau.

In turn, the Cape Verde representative said she felt excited after the visit. She plans to assess Cape Verde's local needs and connect with appropriate Chinese companies.
