On July 26, the Chinese delegation visits Maranhão to discuss the production of healthy food by family farming in Maranhão and conduct an analysis of Chinese machinery used by family farmers.

With the testing of Chinese machinery, the objective is for Maranhão to be able to establish a factory for construction here in Brazil.

“Our greatest interest is in partnership with the MST and the Chinese delegation to establish a rice harvester factory in the state. The Northeast has this wonderful potential to use these machines and produce for other Brazilian states,"  noted the acting governor, Felipe Camarão.

China's international delegation is made up of representatives from the China Agricultural University, the International Association for People's Cooperation (IAPC), the Chinese Machine Testing Project and the company Lovol, a Chinese manufacturer of agricultural machinery.
