The entourage of the Chinese state-owned infrastructure company, CRRC Corporation Limited, was received on the 24th of August, by the governor of Rio de Janeiro, Cláudio Castro, and signed a letter of intent for Line 3 of the Metro with the government. The work will be carried out according to the DLS model, which covers everything from construction design to intelligence-supported operations.
The CRRC presented to the governor its portfolio of activities carried out in Brazil, ranging from research, technical services for urban rail transport, manufacturing, repair, sale to leasing. The group, which has operated in Brazilian territory since 2008, supplied a total of 604 passenger rail vehicles to the state of Rio de Janeiro.
