Magazine Luiza (Magalu) and the Chinese website Aliexpress, from the Chinese group Alibaba, announced on June 24 an unprecedented strategic agreement for product sales that should begin in the third quarter of this year.
The announcement was made in China at a press conference. According to the companies, the partnership began to be designed at the end of last year.
The agreement provides that products from Magalu's own stock, mostly durable goods, will be sold in Brazil through AliExpress Brasil and that products from AliExpress's Choice line, which is a premium line from the Chinese group's marketplace, both in terms of delivery time and quality, will be sold by Magalu.
It is the first time since AliExpress began its activities in 2010 that the company will sell products in third-party spaces.
