Brazilian law firm Veirano Advogados has set up a special desk to deal with its Chinese clients, Migalhas reports.

The Brazilian legal news website quotes the founding partner, Ronaldo Veirano, as saying Chinese companies are among his firm’s biggest clients – a reflection of the intensity of Sino-Brazilian trade.

The report says Veirano Advogados recently became the first law firm in Brazil to register in China the Mandarin-language version of a brand name.

Chinese Consul-General in São Paulo Chen Peijie and representatives of Chinese companies in Brazil attended the opening of the Veirano Advogados China Desk, the report says.

This year is the 45th since Brazil and the People’s Republic of China established diplomatic relations, and Ms Chen hailed the quality of the Sino-Brazilian relationship, Migalhas says.
