President of Campinas and FNP discuss expanding bilateral trade with Shenzen government

The expansion of commercial relations between Shenzen, in China, and the municipalities of the Metropolitan Region of Campinas (RMC) was one of the topics of the meeting that the president of Campinas, Dário Saadi, in the company of members of the National Front of Mayors (FNP), met with representatives of the government of the Asian city on the 19th of September.


At the meeting, representatives from Shenzhen, a city considered the Chinese Silicon Valley, presented their experiences in using technology in the areas of security and intelligent monitoring, among others.


The president highlighted the RMC's potential for increasing bilateral trade with an emphasis on factors such as industrial production, the consumer market in the interior of São Paulo and the location of Viracopos International Airport, Brazil's main cargo airport.

 

Saadi also presented the Campinas Incentive Law, the city's infrastructure, universities, technology parks and the main research and technology centers and institutions.
