Committed to promoting electric mobility, Cetelem, a commercial brand of BNP Paribas Personal Finance, established a strategic partnership for the financing in Portugal of the electric car brand BYD, represented in Portugal by the Salvador Caetano Group.

Through the recent exclusive partnership, Cetelem reinforces its positioning in the market, making financial products such as Credit, Leasing, ALD and balloon available to all customers and dealer networks. Additionally, it will offer insurance, loyalty programs for the brand's customers and financing of the importer's vehicle stock and dealer network.

Pedro Cordeiro, COO of BYD Portugal, adds that “The partnership with Cetelem makes it possible to provide several necessary incentives for greener and more sustainable transport alternatives, thus supporting BYD's main policy: zero carbon emissions.”
