China will donate two sets of equipment for keyhole surgery to the Agostinho Neto Hospital in the Cape Verdean capital, Praia, A Semana reports.

The newspaper quotes an official of the hospital, Júlio Andrade, as saying the equipment will allow the hospital to perform operations in a more modern manner.

Chinese instructors will spend a week teaching doctors and nurses at the hospital techniques for keyhole surgery, A Semana says.
