Turismo de Portugal will take part in the ITB China exhibition in Shanghai, the Portuguese tourism industry online portal Publituris reports.
Portugal has taken a 200-square-metre stand to promote the Madeira archipelago, the centre of Portugal and the Alentejo region. Eight companies will promote their businesses at the event, which runs until Friday, including Beijing Capital Airlines. The airline will commence direct flights between the Mainland and Portugal on July 26.
ITB China is a travel trade show that focuses on the Chinese travel market.
