Confidence in Brazil’s industrial sector increased for the fifth straight month and has reached its highest level in more than two years, the Brazilian news agency Brasil reports.

In the survey of entrepreneurs by the National Confederation of Industry, confidence increased by 2.2 percentage points this month compared to the August figure.

The Industrial Entrepreneur Confidence Index stands at 53.7. A number below 50 represents a lack of confidence in the economy by entrepreneurs.
