China’s Ambassador to Angola, Cui Aimin, has expressed his confidence in the economic development of the African nation, Angolan news agency Angop reported.
Speaking on Friday during a visit to Angola’s Huíla province, Mr Cui Aimin said – as quoted by Angop – Angola had abundant natural resources that could help in diversifying the country’s sources of revenues and help it overcome current economic difficulties.
Mr Cui Aimin also said China and Angola would continue to co-operate in fields including construction, agriculture, transportation, health, education and culture, Angop reported.
The Chinese Ambassador last week visited the Angolan provinces of Huíla and Benguela. The aim was to identify opportunities for further co-operation between those regions and China, the Angolan press reported.
