On the 21st of March, the company Powerchina announced an estimated investment of BRL 1.8 billion for the construction of a new solar park in the municipality of Mauriti. The statement was made during the meeting with the Secretary for Economic Development (SDE), Salmito Filho.
According to the company, the new solar park will have 343 MW of power, the construction should start this March, and the park will be delivered in February 2025.
The visit of Powerchina representatives aimed to seek rapprochement with the government of the State of Ceará and learn more about support policies and incentives for investors in the renewable energy chain.
Powerchina has been present in Brazil since 2006, acting on more than 50 contracts. It currently has six projects under construction with excellent quality standards.
