55 XCMG electric trucks arrive in Brazil

A fleet of 55 fully electric XCMG trucks, as well as excavators and forklifts, also electric, arrived in Brazil through the Port of São Francisco do Sul, in Santa Catarina.

In all, the lot comprises 143 vehicles from the Chinese brand XCMG, a world reference among large machinery manufacturers. In the case of trucks, model XGA4252, with 6×4 traction, a total gross weight of 49 tons and a load capacity of 39 tons, the battery box is installed behind the cabin, measuring 2 meters in height and 2.4 meters in width.

The zero-emission vehicles will operate in the iron ore, nickel and copper mines of the mining company Vale do Rio Doce, in Minas Gerais.
