Angolan Ministry of Education and HUAWEI agree to digitize education

On September 26, the Angolan Ministry of Education and the Chinese multinational Huawei signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at developing digital education in Angola. 


The agreement specifically aims to improve the connectivity of elementary school in remote areas, equip 11,100 schools with ICT equipment and train the respective agents, promoting the sharing of educational resources in Angola through an online educational platform.


The memorandum, which was initialed by Caetano Domingos, the Director General of the National Staff Training Institute from the Angolan Ministry of Education, and Hou Qiang from Huawei, was witnessed by the Minister of Education, Luísa Maria Alves Grilo.
