On September 24, the Brazilian company Suzano, the world's largest pulp producer and a global reference in the manufacture of bioproducts developed from eucalyptus, organized the Suzano Asia Bioeconomy Forum in Shanghai, announcing the new cooperation with China for its sustainable bio-based materials. The forum focused on the innovative application of Suzano's bio-based materials in the Chinese market.
During the forum, Suzano signed a historic partnership agreement with Ningbo Actmix Rubber Chemicals, a leading manufacturer of rubber additives in Asia. Under the agreement, the two companies will work together to market Suzano's Ecolig® in Actmix's rubber products.
In addition, Suzano has also signed agreements for the commercial analysis of its bio-based products with Fudan University, a renowned Chinese institution, and Insper, a Brazilian non-profit institution dedicated to teaching and research.
