The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) announced on September 9 that it had issued the Experimental Flight Authorization Certificate (CAVE) for the EH216 eVTOL model from the Chinese manufacturer EHang. The authorization was issued to Gohobby, the brand's representative in Brazil.

With the CAVE, Gohobby will be able to perform tests and trials to evaluate the operational characteristics of the equipment, but with some restrictions, such as a ban on transporting people, flights only in visual line of sight (VLOS) and the implementation of fixed areas for testing. These measures aim at safety, mainly the protection of third parties.

To issue the authorization, ANAC used the Brazilian Special Civil Aviation Regulation (RBAC-E) No. 94 as a basis. This authorization represents a step forward in the collaboration between Brazil and China in aviation technological innovation.
