The Chinese Government has provided US$77,000 to Timor-Leste for renovation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MNEC) building.

The Chinese Ambassador to Timor-Leste, Ms. Wang Wenli, stressed that the Chinese Government is committed to continuing to support Timor-Leste to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two countries.

Additionally, a MNEC representative thanked the Chinese Executive for supporting Timor-Leste, particularly in support for the renovation of the MNEC building.

It should be noted that China had supported the construction of the Presidential Palace, the FALINTIL-Timor-Leste Defence Force Headquarters and the MNEC buildig.
