Recently, the Tianjin Professional School of Mechanics and Electricity organized a series of activities around Chinese culture for a group of teachers and students from Oficina Luban in Portugal.

The activities aim to improve understanding of traditional Chinese culture and promote cultural exchanges and interactions between Chinese and Portuguese students and teachers.

The Luban Workshop in Portugal is the first in continental Europe. It was jointly established by the Professional School of Mechanics and Electricity of Tianjin and the Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Setúbal, in Portugal. The agreement between the two institutions was officially signed on December 5, 2018, to jointly train talents in the areas of electrical and industrial automation.

On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Portugal, the cultural experience activities for students and teachers at Oficina Luban in Portugal not only opened a window to an in-depth understanding of traditional Chinese culture but also became an example of friendly relations between China and Portugal.
