Brazil and China unite for solar energy and green hydrogen

The Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association (Absolar), the China Photovoltaic Industry Association (CPIA), ApexBrasil, the Federal Government of Brazil and the Government of China joined together to promote on July 11, an exclusive meeting to discuss the strengthening of the bilateral market between Brazil and China, in particular, to expand business in the areas of solar energy, storage and green hydrogen.


The event, which will take place at the headquarters of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP), in the capital of São Paulo, will be the first of its kind in the country, with the first edition taking place in Shanghai, China, in 2023. The debate is part of the initiatives provided for in the cooperation agreement signed in 2022 between Absolar and CPIA.


During the meeting, representatives of entities, the Brazilian and Chinese governments and the private photovoltaic sector will discuss the prospects for developing new businesses in both countries, in addition to attracting more investments in Brazil and technological exchange.
