In a strategic move to expand its presence in the electric vehicle market, the JAP Group entered into an exclusive partnership with the Foton Motor Group, assuming the position of official importer of the Chinese manufacturer in Portugal.

Following the agreement now established, the JAP Group will become responsible for the import, distribution and technical assistance of Foton's innovative Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), which will reach the national market in 2024.

This partnership, more than strengthening Portugal's electric mobility infrastructure, also aligns with national objectives for reducing emissions and facilitating an efficient energy transition.

The JAP Group already represents the Foton brand in some African countries, which is another step in the strategy of expanding and strengthening the relationship between the two entities.
