CATIC and Tucuruí talk about global investment in the city

Alexandre Siqueira, president of the Tucuruí municipal council, received the president of the Chinese investment group “China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation (CATIC)” and his entourage.


The meeting occurred in the federal deputy's office, Andréia Siqueira, in Brasília (DF). The Chinese group came to Brazil to discuss investments related to the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP30). The event will be held in Belém (PA) in November 2025.


According to President Alexandre, as mentioned earlier, the meeting with the delegation was productive and provided an opportunity to discuss solar energy and investment for Tucuruí. “Our meeting was positive. We started discussions about investment in solar energy, and the conversations progressed well," comments the manager.
