On "China Day" at Expodireto Cotrijal in Não-Me-Toque, the international pavilion hosted the 4th China-Brazil Seminar on the Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply Chain. Promoted by the Rio Grande do Sul State Secretariat for Economic Development and the China Inspection and Quarantine Association (CIQA), the event addressed issues involving trade relations between the state and China, export processes to the Asian country and quality control of animal products.

The Chinese delegation that came to Expodireto Cotrijal is the largest in the fair's history, a fact that was highlighted by Secretary Ernani Polo, one of the speakers.

The general representative of the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Brazil (CCPIT) and secretary-general of the Brazilian Association of Chinese Enterprises (ABEC), Guo Yinghui, stressed in his speech that he is committed to promoting cooperation between Rio Grande do Sul and China. Yinghu also invited the state to take part in the next China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), where Rio Grande do Sul had an official stand in 2023.
