On March 6 in Luanda, Angola's Foreign Minister, Teté António, received Huawei's president for Southern Africa, with whom he discussed bilateral cooperation issues, especially with regard to the development and implementation of innovative technological solutions to boost the country's socio-economic progress.

At the meeting, Téte António reiterated the Angolan government's commitment to promoting solid partnerships with "renowned" international companies, such as Huawei, for the benefit of Angolans and the sustainable development of the country, since, according to him, Huawei is one of the leading companies in the technology sector.

In view of this, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation ties, with a view to mutual benefits and technological progress in the region.

The meeting represents a major step in the consolidation of bilateral relations between Angola and Huawei, and therefore shows the mutual commitment to explore opportunities for cooperation in the various sectors, thus contributing to the growth and prosperity of the parties.
