The graduation ceremony of Huawei's Seeds for the Future 2023 program, held in the city of Maputo on January 12, was attended by Mateus Magala, Minister of Transport and Communications; Wang Hejun, Chinese ambassador to Mozambique; and Zhang Junming, general director of Huawei Mozambique.

Sixty-one young Mozambican students graduated from the program after completing short-term training in the information and communication technologies (ICT) sector.

Huawei revealed that since the program began in 2016, 15% of graduates have managed to work for national telecommunications companies.

Magala thanked the technological giant for developing the country's human and institutional capabilities. It is recommended that Huawei continue to establish partnerships with Mozambican companies in the telecommunications sector.
