The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) says 75 agreements were signed at the Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) and the Portuguese-speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition this year.

IPIM issued a written statement saying the agreements cover co-operation by governments and business associations, the meetings and exhibitions industry, cross-border e-commerce, tourism, cultural and creative industries, environmental protection technology, talent development, manufacturing, and product promotion and sales.

The statement says over 400 business-matching sessions and 30 other sorts of gathering were held.

It says the gatherings included the Young Entrepreneurs Forum of China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries, attended by over 300 people, and the Mozambique-Fujian-Macao Trade and Investment Forum, at which agreements were reached on conventional medicine, Chinese traditional medicine, technology and environmental protection.

Mozambique was the partner country of the MIF this year and the southern Chinese province of Fujian was the partner province, IPIM says.
