China and Brazil will strengthen co-operation on fiscal matters and finance to advance their comprehensive strategic partnership, the government-run Xinhua news agency reports.
The remarks were made during a meeting between Vice Finance Minister Shi Yaobin and his Brazilian counterpart Marcello Estevão in Beijing on Sunday.
Mr Shi said China was willing to enhance macro-economic policy coordination and seek more opportunities on two-way investments.
Mr Estevão was quoted as saying there was room for the potential for greater co-operation.
