Brazil launches two-month promotion of food products in Beijing

A two-month promotion of food products from Brazil, called Taste Brazil, has gotten underway in Beijing, the China Daily newspaper reported.

The second edition of Brazil Taste focuses on the high-end purchasing power in northern China, following the success of the first edition held in Shanghai in enticing customers from the eastern part of the nation, the report said.

The first edition of Brazil Taste, which lasted two days in Shanghai in March, generated US$2.25 million in sales, the newspaper reported.
