Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa will visit China from October 8 to 12, Jornal de Negócios reports.
The Portuguese newspaper says Mr Costa’s visit will include a stop in Macao. It cites a statement issued by the prime minister’s office.
Mr Costa will go first to Beijing, where he will meet officials and leading institutions, the Lusa news agency reports. On the visit’s third day, Mr Costa is scheduled to discuss business and economic ties between the mainland and Portugal in Shanghai, before proceeding to Macao.
