The Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Rio de Janeiro organized, during the month of July, a Administrative Capacity-Building Seminar for Portuguese-speaking Countries. Participants from Brazil, Angola, Mozambique and São Tomé e Príncipe attended the seminar.

Students attended offline or online the seminar given by Chinese professors from various universities in different topics, including government structure, market opening, foreign trade, reduction of poverty and so on.

The face-to-face classes in Brazil were held at the Chinese Park in Maracanã and were coordinated by the Secretary-General of the Brazil-China Cultural Exchange Chamber.

The closing ceremony with the awarding of certificates took place at the same place and was attended by the Chinese Consul-General, Mrs. Tian Min.
