In Portugal, the Chinese car brand Airways has five points of sale and assistance in Lisbon, Porto, Loures, Sintra and Cascais.

In November 2021, the Chinese company established cooperation with the Astara Group (formerly called Bergé) and settled in Portugal, starting to sell the U5 in the first quarter of 2022.

Aiways intends to launch the U6 later this year. The objective will be to launch one new electric vehicle per year in Portugal. With the increase in brand awareness, the company wants more partnerships with leasing companies and fleets that wish to offer emission-free mobility options will also grow.

Aiways is already present in ten other markets: Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Italy, Holland, Sweden and Switzerland.
