The Presentation on Tourism Products from the Portuguese-speaking Countries, organised by the Macao Government Tourism Office and the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), will take place from 3pm to 5.30pm on April 26 in the multifunctional room at the Venetian Macao’s Convention and Exhibition Centre Hall E. The activity aims at promoting tourism cooperation between Mainland China, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries, and to facilitate the implementation in Macao of the “One Centre, One Platform” policies.

The Presentation on Tourism Products from the Portuguese-speaking Countries is one of the focal points of the 7th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo, an event highlighting Macao’s role as a Commercial and Trade Co-operation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries. The presentation will be attended by governmental officials, business people, buyers from China and representatives of the Macao tourism industry, as well as by the participants of the Workshop on Tourism and the MICE Industry for Portuguese-speaking Countries.

During the promotional session, representatives from Portuguese-speaking Countries will make presentations and exchange views on several topics related to tourism, in particular their respective tourism products and services, as well as the investment and business environment of their respective countries.

The Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao continues to support tourism cooperation between Mainland China, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries. The Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao will take part in the 7th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo, setting up a pavilion to promote the tourism offerings from the Portuguese-speaking Countries. The Expo will take place at the Venetian Macao’s Convention & Exhibition Centre, on April 27 and 28, from 10am to 8pm.

The Portuguese-speaking Countries’ pavilion will feature the latest tourism developments in those countries. It will include product showcases, photographs, videos, publications and other promotional materials. The Permanent Secretariat has arranged for staff bilingual in Chinese and Portuguese to be at the booth to assist with business exchanges.
