Casimiro de Jesus Pinto has been appointed by the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) Government as Acting Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, effective from October 26, 2018.

Mr Pinto is currently an advisor to the Office of the Secretary for Economy and Finance. He served previously as the Head of the Department of Language Affairs of the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau. He has a bachelor’s degree in translation studies and is proficient in both Chinese and Portuguese languages.
