A delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) will visit the Chinese city of Jiaozhou, in Qingdao, from April 25, in a bid to further develop economic and commercial activities.

The visit aims to promote investment and advance commercial cooperation between Shangdong Province, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries, taking advantage of Forum Macao’s efficient multilateral communication mechanism, as well as of Macao’s role as a platform between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.

During the visit, the delegation will meet with Qingdao officials, and take part in the 2021 Shanghai Cooperation Organization International Investment and Trade Expo and in the Qingdao Forum. The delegation will also organise the China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Session, and visit some local companies.
