A delegation led by the Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Ms Xu Yingzhen, took part in the “China International Green Innovative Products & Technologies Show” at the Guangzhou (Meizhou) Industrial Zone, on November 23 in Meizhou, Guangdong. The participation in the trade show aimed to promote development of the green economy and cooperation in environmental protection-related matters between provinces and municipalities from Mainland China, and Portuguese-speaking Countries.

The China International Green Innovative Products & Technologies Show, organised by the China Council for International Investment Promotion, is rated as a high-level, highly-influential, international trade show in China, promoting green industries. This year’s event focused on promoting green development and innovation within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao attended the trade show’s opening ceremony and a meeting on promoting green innovation. It also took part in a business-matching session focused on green marketing and digital marketing projects. During the event, members of the delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao took part in exchanges with other participants on green technologies, and advanced, low-carbon, environment-friendly products and services, for domestic and international markets.

Forum Macao’s participation in the China International Green Innovative Products & Technologies Show helped further exchanges between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries in the fields of ecology and environmental protection, opening new opportunities for cooperation related to the green economy.
