On September 27, the 3rd China (Macau) High-quality Consumption Exhibition (CHCE) & Hengqin Global Bay Areas Forum was inaugurated in Macao. Ji Xianzheng, Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, led a delegation of the Permanent Secretariat to participate in the opening ceremony of the China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries Image Pavilion, and toured the pavilion with guests.
The Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao has participated in the CHCE for three consecutive years. This year, it continues to put on the China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries Image Pavilion to leverage Macao’s advantages as a platform between the countries and showcase, through texts, images, videos, physical products and other means, the unique characteristics of China and 9 Portuguese-speaking Countries (PSCs) including Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe and Timor-Leste, as well as the Macao Special Administrative Region. Such efforts aim to promote the investment and business environment and cooperation achievements of China and PSCs and featured products of PSCs, thereby further promoting the role of Forum Macao and Macao’s function as a service platform between China and PSCs, as well as fully demonstrating Macao’s role as a connection between the countries.
Covering an area of 108m2 at Cotai Expo Halls A and B, The Venetian Macao, the China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries Image Pavilion is open to the public between September 27 and 29, 2024, from 11am to 8pm every day. All are welcome to join.
