Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao participates in “Macao Week in Shaanxi•Xi’an”

From 21 to 23 August, a delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), led by Xie Ying, Deputy Secretary-General, participated in the opening ceremony and activities of the “Macao Week in Shaanxi•Xi’an” in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province.


During the event, members of the delegation introduced the Pavilion of Portuguese-speaking Countries to leaders visiting the venue, including Lei Wai Nong, Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macao SAR; Xu Ketao, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xi’an Municipal Committee, Deputy Mayor of Xi’an and Yao Hongjuan, Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government. They visited the mega roadshow with products from PSCs displayed. On the occasion of the visit, the delegation of the Permanent Secretariat promoted Forum Macao and the Macao platform and explored opportunities for cooperation between mainland China, Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries, so as to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the Permanent Secretariat and provinces and municipalities in mainland China.


The delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao included: Danilo Henriques, Deputy Secretary-General; Agostinho dos Santos, Representative of Angola; Cristina Mangue Abeso, Representative of Equatorial Guinea; Pedro Carvalho, Representative of São Tomé and Príncipe; and António Ramos da Silva, Representative of Timor-Leste.
