A delegation from the International Institute of Macau visited on March 31 the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), a body also known as Forum Macao.
During the visit, the Institute’s President, Mr Jorge A. H. Rangel, delivered a presentation on the body’s mission and its development since it was established. Mr Rangel also discussed the strengthening of economic and trade co-operation between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries, and opportunities for co-operation between the Institute and Forum Macao.
The Secretary-General of Forum Macao, Ms Xu Yingzhen, welcomed to Forum Macao’s headquarters the delegation from the International Institute of Macau. Ms Xu said the Institute could make use of the multilateral co-operation platform offered by Forum Macao to promote exchanges and co-operation with other organisations.
Mr Ding Tian and Ms Echo Chan, each in their capacity as a Deputy Secretary-General of Forum Macao, also attended the gathering with the International Institute of Macau delegation.
